What’s New for 2019?
So what makes this year’s bike so different from the previous model years? We’ll start at the engine. The 1301 cc V-twin engine now has titanium intake valves, new mapping, and resonator chamber technology so that you’ll have a lighter machine that spins faster. This can make the Super Duke GT easier to handle and more efficient as well. KTM also updated the suspension system so there will now be three settings: Comfort, Street, and Sport. This way, you can adjust the suspension to fit your needs and the system can adapt to the road.
There’s now a 6.5-inch TFT dash that comes with the KTM My Ride app preinstalled. This allows your dashboard to easily connect to your smartphone and display information, like navigation and audio in five different languages. Some other great features right at your fingertips include cruise control with an improved user interface, more aerodynamic handguards, and a windscreen with better adjustment and wind protection. For good measure, you’ll also get a new headlight that uses LED technology.
